About Me

My name is Kaeley Owen and I am the owner and operator of Owen Equine. My love and passion for horses started as a little girl. I have apprenticed under World Champion horse trainers as well as competed with some of the best. I was a California High School Rodeo State Qualifier and Top 10 finisher. Top 15 finisher for the NIRA West Coast Region, and California Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association Rookie of the Year. I have now shifted my focus to coaching and clinics at our home in Gerber, CA. At our facility I also offer Equine Bodywork sessions with a multitude of modalities under the guidance of some of the most qualified veterinarians on the West Coast. I offer long-term or short-term care with customized boarding options including, but not limited to basic care, recovery packages, sale prep, and more. My passion for teaching and horses have merged into a beautiful career where I get to guide and instruct our rodeo athletes while providing their equine partners with high quality care to perform at their best.
